School Events
Here at Hollyfields we believe the children benefit from regular trips and visits to places of educational interest. Below are some of the recent events we've had. Feel free to have a browse through.

7 Jan 2012 The children entertained family and friends when they performed the 'Innkeeper's Breakfast' at our December Special Assembly.

10 Oct 2011 Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare delighted the children when they called in en -route to Cornwall. He commented on the children's work and stories, and then read them the first few pages from his latest book, Little Manfred. After reading to them he answered lots of questions.The children had been raising money with a 'Sponsored Book Read' and were able to give them a cheque for £210 for their charity 'Farms for City Children'.

30 Sep 2011 We spent the morning investigating how animals survive the cold winter and exploring changes to trees in autumn. After lunch, we went on the 'Play Trail' through the woods.

8 Jul 2011 On Sports Day, the children were able to demonstrate many different skills and their ability to co-operate within their teams. The races were followed by a BBQ and families and friends playing rounders together.
